On Tuesday, January 29, 2019, in the presence of Dr. Yousef Goran-Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, counselors, presidents of private and governmental universities, vice presidents of universities, heads of English departments, and directors of language centers, a workshop on enhancing English Department studies was held at the hall of meeting in Sheraton Hotel. In the beginning, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research delivered a speech then warmly welcomed the guests.
It is worth mentioning that Assistant Professor Dr. Lazgin A. Jameel-President of the University of Zakho, Mr. Hozan G. Osman-Head of English Department, and a number of lecturers participated in this workshop.
In the workshop, many topics regarding studying in the English language at Kurdistan universities, problems and obstacles were discussed.
